1) Java client:
Currently my java code accesses unsecured LDAP. Now my ldap is secured by ssl. what changes i need to make in intialcontext to access secured ldap. Also do i need to encode the I info I sent to ldap and decode the information received from LDAP? I use lot of search filter to retrieve information from java and also create object. Do client also need any cert file?


1) Spring java program : I also use spring authetication for a different project. What changes i need to do in my file to access secured ldap.

If web business component accesses secured ldap, do I need to add this -Djavax.net.ssl.keyStore=MyKeystoreFile \
    -Djavax.net.ssl.keyStorePassword=mysecret \ in app server runtime argument?
