so, trying to apply an exported wim from wds to a machine (not pxe).  its failing to boot with the boot loader not found.
i am booting from a usb pe stick and applying the wim from another usb drive, running imagex /apply f:\wim\image.wim 1 c:\
it applies fine.

am i doing something wrong?

You probably also need boot.wim as it is used in WDS to start booting from USB before OS wim can be applied

?  boot.wim is on the pe usb stick...
the wds wim applies without any errors.

make sure you got image of system drive too? which is created automatically during the partition of windows,

windows image won't load or boot without the system drive partition.

resolved some time ago and i think it was a faulty disk.
