Hello Everyoone,

Actually i am trying to call an agent in the lotus notes, but we have set "No Access" for Anonymous user lotus notes database , so i need to authenticate to tha application , can anyone help me how to authenticate and do we need to store the information in the cookie

AFAIK no such things as cookies for authentication. There are two different ways to connect to your database:
1/ directly on the client, you need a local Notes installation
2/ via the server, using CORBA and DIIOP (that has to be enabled on the server)

Both do require authentication.

No i have already have an agent URL  like http://qlty.in.abb.com/Sobis_Develop/TestLNServices/LNServices.nsf  , and i have no access for anonymous user , i need to authenticate this URL from java before accessing

Ah, you don't connect to the server, you use an URL... Right, now I understand the cookie. :-$

Here is how it can be done via HTTP POST using JavaScript and the XMLHttpRequest object.

request.open('POST', '/names.nsf?login', true);
request.send('&username=' + username + '&password=' + password);
I've never needed to do this from Java, so porting the code is left to you.  You'll probably have to use the full URL rather than a relative one.
