Clicky

I have searched and tried multiple variations on how to load the perspective scripts in order to have no conflicts. I can get one or the other to work but not both at the same time. I am using the <script language="javascript">$jQuery = jQuery.noConflict();</script>. This is the order that I am loading the scripts in the <head> section:

<script src="js/lightbox/prototype.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="js/lightbox/scriptaculous.js?load=effects,builder" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-latest.js"></script>
<script language="javascript">$jQuery = jQuery.noConflict();</script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery.easing.1.3.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery.bgshift.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery.bgpos.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/popup.js"></script>
<script src="js/lightbox/lightbox.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

I have yet to find a solution.

When you use multiple sources to write code for you are going to get conflicts.  Even when the code comes from a single source there is no guarantee of compatibility.  So remove something.  From the look of what you are loading you are probably loading in a couple of hundred k to do 15 lines of code, and there is probably to much on the page already.  Learn to write a little code yourself and you won't need so many external sources.

Although I appreciated someone responding the answer given was really a polite way of telling me to go home and learn some code.

Yes.  If you are going to do web development as a hobby or for a living you need to have enough understanding of the underlying code to see the possibilities and the options.  Otherwise you run into a lot of frustration that takes the fun out of it.
