I Need Help with DNS Configuration on my windows server 2008 R2.

Here is the problem with my current dns configuration i can't access my site externally but i could internally from my own network.

I have installed the following softwares, rolls and services onto my Server
Active Directory Domain Services
File Services
Microsoft Database
Enkompass (Cpanel)

Everyone of this software has been configured and its working fine but i can't seems to get DNS working properly on the server.

Here are what i have done in DNS Configuration

I have created the following

Forward Lookup Zone --- for my main domain my
Name Server (NS) pointing to my external IP address
Name Server (NS) pointing to my external IP address
Host (A) for that points to my computers IP address (Internal IP address)

Reverse Lookup Zones
my internal ip address
my internal ip address

I have also registered my nameserver (NS) with enom ---- my external IP address ---- my external IP address

What is your AD domain name? It isn't recommended that you use a Windows DNS server to host your public DNS records. You really shouldn't use a domain controller to host your public DNS records. You can not use a DC to host your public DNS if your AD name and public domain name are the same if you are using private IP addresses for anything that needs to be available publicly. You stated that the a record for is a private IP address. When an internet host does a DNS query for tunapo.con, it will get that private IP address as the response. The Internet client needs the public IP address, not the private IP address.

if you want to use the Windows box to host the public DNS you need to either switch it to using public IP addresses, switch the AD domain name to something other than, or just remove Active Directory and run as a stand alone or member server.

You need to specify what your AD name is so I can better advise you. Do you even need to be running AD?

Then you need to either use a different public DNS server, or change your AD domain to something other than You probably don't have the option of using public IP as the real IP of your server.
