If that's a true date/time then, assuming it's in A1 try this formula in B1

=MOD(A1,1)>=14/24

make sure it is in date

A1: 28/09/2011  2:34:45 AM
A2: =HOUR(A1)
A3: =IF(B1>2,"Yes","No")

combo

A1: 28/09/2011  2:34:45 AM
A2: =IF(HOUR(A1)>2,"Yes","No")

actually >= is better, and we should use 14

make sure it is in date

A1: 28/09/2011  2:34:45 AM
A2: =HOUR(A1)
A3: =IF(B1>=14,"Yes","No")

combo

A1: 28/09/2011  2:34:45 AM
A2: =IF(HOUR(A1)>=14,"Yes","No")

How is this formula changing from 12 hour to 24 hour to get the "14"?

Using HOUR is a good approach, HainKurt, when the cutoff is an exact hour, but if you want the cutoff to change to 2:30 PM (14:30) for instance then my suggestion can be easily modified

=MOD(A1,1)>="14:30"+0
