How do I find out what my primary DNS settings are on  Windows 7

Go to command prompt, type: ipconfig /all

The above is correct. However, if you do not see the Run field after clicking the Start button please do the following.
Right click on the ‘Taskbar’ and select ‘Properties’. Click on the ‘Start Menu’ tab and then click the ‘Customize button. Scroll down the list of items and place a checkmark in the ‘Run command’ box. Click the ‘OK’ button until the properties windows is closed.
Click Start and Run.
In the Run field type cmd and press Enter.
Once the new window appears type in ipconfig /all as mentioned above.
