For me the colour around the images is still slightly off in IE.  The problem you have won't be solved using CSS or HTML unfortunately.  You'll need to make sure that the colour in the images is correct for it to match with the colour of the webpage.

It actually looks like the JPG compression may be too high and that could be the reason for the unusual discoloration artifacts in the images.

Sorry runnerjp2005, but you have put really different colors for background and for images.

The background has an color defined in CSS:

body {

  background-image: url(../images/background.jpg);
  margin-top: 0px;
      margin-left: 0;
      margin-right: 0;
      margin-bottom: 0;
      font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
      color:#8e7d6a;
      font-weight: normal;
      text-decoration: none;
      line-height: 150%;
      font-size:13px;

      background-repeat:repeat-x;
      background-color:#1a110a;
}

So, it is a very unusually that you defined a background color and still put an image background.jpg for a background that has the same color as it is defined in CSS styles:

background-color:#1a110a;

I have opened all your image in Photoshop and see the code of color that is around your images is totally differently for almost every image.
So, I marked these colors codes with RED rectangulars in every PNG file that I send to you.

Look at these screenshots:
