How is the configuration saved  to a txt or bin file on a Cisco Aironet 1130ag WAP from the GUI? IOS ver 12.4(21a)JA1.

You can console or telnet to the WAP and simply run "show config all" and capture the output in your session (i.e. with Hyperterminal or Putty)
Then just save as a .txt file for future neeeds.

Is that a no on doing it from the GUI?

click the SYSTEM SOFTWARE link. Then teh SYSTEM CONFIGURATION link. Then CONFIG.TXT link. then just give it a filename.
