Clicky

Hello,

We are having an issue that when our users select the contacts in the public folders that they have rights for and add them to thier favorites ( then they appear under thier contacts) after Outlook is closed and reopened they dissapear when they are clicked on. When i run outlook with the resetnavpane switch it works and the contacts stay, however the users always open Outlook normally and then the contacts disappear when they clickon them. They have to keep going back to the "folderlist" than public folder. Please advise on what can be a solution. Thank you.

If it works with reset nav pane..

I would just create a new shortcut on their desktop pointing to
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14\OUTLOOK.EXE" /resetnavpane

This will ensure each time they open outlook it uses the switch, yilding the view you want

Well actually, it works when i enter that path in the explorer URL path, and also when i enter it in RUN with Outlook.exe /resetnavpane. However when i enter it in the START IN path it will not work, can you make double check that that is the correct string i should enter in the Start in location. Thank you guys..
