I am trying to install Microsoft SQL 2008 R2 Standard on a virtual server that is Server 2008 R2 64bit.  I was told that by running the install files for SP1 would fix the issue, however, I am still getting the error below.  I get through all the setup process and it fails during the installation progress.  Please help!

Running the fix only partially remedied the problem.  It did allow me to re-run a microsoft update that needed to be installed.  It was the .net 4 upgrade that had originally failed that cause the installation error of SQL.
