How can I reposition text (move up) during an animation?

Hello,

insert a text box and enter the text.
Select the text box
Click the Animations ribbon and select "Add Animation"
Scroll down to "Motion Paths" and select "Custom Path"
Draw the path of the animation with the pencil tool, finish with a double click.

Set the desired animation options for starting the animation.

See attached files. One created in PPT 2003, the other one in PPT 2010. I don't have 2007, but the functionality will be there.
