I'm running a Nokia IP 390 IP appliance with checkpoint R70 firewall on it.

Trying to setup ospf and to exchange routes with cisco.Everything is working fine but exporting the default route does not do as it should. I have another checkpoint firewall with ospf enabled but on SPLAT and I have announced the default route there. I need this second firewall as a disaster recovery solution and I hope of getting it to work with announcing more costly default route. So when SPLAT firewall goes down, I have Nokia in place and everything works as it should, at least for plain old internet browsing.

Whatever I do, Nokia's default route always take priority. What's happening here?

Slakic, I see that you have TenGigabit there. Nice. :)

I also see  that you redistributed default as Type 1 external. This IS the default on Nokia so I thought this might have been a problem.

Please, try to choose type 2 redistribution from  Voyager web interface on your ospf config page. Cisco take type 2 as default one. This is a common misunderstanding when pairing ospf equipment from different vendors. I might write an article here about that.
