I have been using NIS 2010 and Windows 7 Ultimate for the past year with Inernet Explorer Version 9.0.8112.16421, without any problems. I use Norton Internet secuity 2010, and the Toolbar with "Identity Safe" to store all of my passwords etc.. All of a sudden I open IE and the Norton Toolbar and Identity safe is gone and inaccessable within IE? I check the 'Add-Ons" and they are still enabled but nowhere to be found! I tried disbling and enbling to no avail. I've gone to Norton's website where it seems to be a common problem but none of the work arounds have been successful. Does any one have an explanation or a way to fix it short of dumping the Program and reinstalling? Thank you.

The add-ons might be enabled, but are they visible?  View->Toolbars, and ensure they are ticked.

jaypeejewlery--Perhaps of help
And do you have the latest updates for NIS2010?  Norton issued a patch to fix this problem a year or so ago.

I found the answer is to check the Box in INTERNET OPTIONS: "Extend third party Browser Extensions"! Thank you for your help.

I found this answer on this site and responded to the member that his answer was exactly what I needed, however, I guess it didn't get recorded for him and I surely don't want to take the credit for his solution.
