Clicky

We need to send email ALWAYS in plain text to a specific client.
I know where the setting are and have set them.  BUT the message doesn't go in PLAIN text every time.  I have closed and reopened Outlook after the changes.
HERE are the step I took to make the specific CONTACT plain text only.
Instructions
NOTE NOT ON EXCHANGE HERE.
1
Open the Contacts folder in Outlook. Double-click the contact you want to change.

2
Double-click the contact's email address.

3
Select "Send plain text only" in the "Internet Format" box. Press "OK."

I would also check the settings in the exchange server regarding outgoing text. It may be doing translations into MIME or something

I hope this helps !

Are you sending via your contact every time?
Check you don't have a nick-name entry as well that is different.
Also check if an mail contact entry is in the GAL - This can override your settings.

As I said in my original note above.  WE do not use Exchange.
Maybe I posted this to the Exchange group by mistake.
In any event after closing and opening OUTLOOK 3 times the setting work.
So this is resolved but I don't see how to award points.  Any suggestions?

I had the steps right from the get go. Ibposted them in my question.  Not sure why I had to do them 3 times before they worked.
