When scanning to email I am getting a message "Sending the Data has Failed"  How do I fix this problem.  I re entered all the email address, but that didn't help.  
Please help!

If using an off-site email server, check to see if they have made any changes, as they may be blocking the copier as a relay.
Check the name of the email server
If it is correct, try using IP address instead of name.
Do you need a username and password for SMTP sending?
Check that they are entered correctly and that the password has not changed..

Also check the default sender (administrator's email address in the copier) is accepted.

I don't know where to change the password for the administrator's email address.  Is was changed on our off site server.  
I am also in New York, I don't know how to change the time on this web site. lol

You are correct. however, I dont know where to go to change the password.  The password was changed on our off site email server.
can you walk me thru it.

Are you using the machine touch screen or a web interface?
On the machine, press user tools button (to the left of the touchscreen with 123 and a diamond on it)
then select file transfer>SMTP server> authentication..
Sorry, but it is some time since I have seen one of these, and it is the weekend.
