I have a user with a dual monitor setup every day when she logs in she has to go into the display settings and change the screen resolution on the second monitor. Tbye shut down their PC's at night. Is there a way of getting this to save like all other users

For a start, does this user have permission to save changes to his/her profile? If yes, try to update graphic card and monitor drivers to the latest version if possible.

If that doesn't help, try to create a new profile for that user and see if that helps. Also, just to make sure, give him administrative or power user permission and try then (just for a test).

If that doesn't help try this resources:

I had a very similar situation... mine was resolved by turning off the hardware accelleration for that monitor....  go to the advanced display settings and give it a try.

Absolutely an incorrect drivers for your VGA Card,
We have ATI vga card 7000|| which gave me the same issue for the last two weeks,
atlast, i found a proper driver and permanently fixed the issue.

you may share your vga card details or find a correct driver for the same,
